Thanks so much to Annie for the mention and award nomination on her blog.

Apparently there are rules for it though. These are:
1. The winner can put the logo on their blog
2. Link the person you received the award from
3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs
4. Put links of those blogs on yours
5. Leave a message on the blogs nominated
So for nominations (in no particular order):
Sarah’s blogs: It Blows Here (her homesteading blog) and The Napping House (about unschooling and her family life). Sarah’s kids are living the life I dreamed of as a kid. I don’t know if I would be up to all the work that she does now (though I would love some chickens and goats eventually), but I really enjoy seeing that life through her eyes. And her kiddos are adorable.
Amy’s blog: Quick now, here, now, always – Amy is a very thoughtful blogger and I love her posts about parenting and the recent ones about her adventures in starting with chickens. My favorites though are the ones where she links an article and then discusses her thoughts about it.
Alice’s blog: Alice in AverageLand – She’s my sister, so maybe I’m bias (I’m not!), but she is a great, funny writer. She doesn’t write about parenting, but about life as a single woman in a corporate environment. She’s a better writer than I am and her posts often (always?) make me laugh.
Inspire Handmade - This is not so much a blog as a collection of posts by different people about why they’ve chosen to forego mass-produced items as much as possible in favour of handmade products. I enjoy the stories and I love to browse around and look at all the handmade items people offer. We have been trying to buy handmade or make our own items for gifts for over a year now.
The Healthy Skeptic – I found this blog while looking for information about cholesterol and statin drugs when Kris’ cholesterol level came back abnormally high. He has some great posts about various health conditions from a point of view that’s skeptical of mainstream media and doctors, backed up with facts and studies, though mostly cholesterol and depression right now.
I also love most of the blogs Annie posted too, but I don’t want to repeat hers, so I’ll leave it at this for now.
