We spent this past weekend cooking up a storm. I’m actually impressed with how much we managed to get done. Meredith and I were lying in bed together this morning and the baby was rolling and kicking quite vigorously. I asked Meredith if she wants to feel the baby and she nodded so I put her hand on my belly. I’ve been napping with her during the days though and that’s normally when I would post. Or at night, but she’s started going to sleep later in the evenings too so I’ve been tending to go to bed with her. I [...] I can’t believe my little baby is a one year old and is toddling around now. We had a great time on her birthday. Kris took the day off and we planned to go to Salt Spring Island. Meredith and I slept in until 10 (and we’d wanted to catch the 11 ferry), so [...] First off, I’ve decided to drop the anonymity. I’ve spoken to my husband about it and he agrees there’s probably not much point. You still won’t find me publishing my address or phone number here, but I’d like to occasionally share pictures or video too. So, hi! I’m Lindsay, my husband is Kris, [...] D2, Bebe, and I go for a walk every night before bed. It’s gotten to the point that when Bebe is tired at night she will point to the mei tei and gets really excited as I put it on. At first, we would just wander through the streets, up to a big park [...] Spring is definitely my favorite season. I love watching the trees bud and flowers bloom. It’s nicer on the coast than on the prairies, where the grass is still brown and there are no flowers or buds yet. Spring here means more sun, longer days, camping, beaches, walks in the forest, and so [...] Bebe is starting to show an interest in books other than as food. She still will only sit for a page or two, but she looks at the pictures and tries to turn the pages. I love Mama Mama/Papa Papa. We (Meredith and I, Kris stayed here) have been away for the last ten days visiting my family and just got home last night.
