 I used to read another blog that did something similar to this every month or so, though I don’t remember whose it was. Every month there are always posts someone else writes that are particularly funny or thoughtful or that just say something that I could say in better words than I ever would. [...]  We spent this past weekend cooking up a storm. I’m actually impressed with how much we managed to get done. We made chicken and beef broth, chili, steak and mushroom pie, prespiced whole chickens, wontons, yam and bean and beef and bean burritos (with homemade tortilla shells and everything), hamburger soup, [...]  Meredith and I were lying in bed together this morning and the baby was rolling and kicking quite vigorously. I asked Meredith if she wants to feel the baby and she nodded so I put her hand on my belly. Meredith didn’t get it too badly thankfully, Kris got it the worst. I’ve been napping with her during the days though and that’s normally when I would post. Or at night, but she’s started going to sleep later in the evenings too so I’ve been tending to go to bed [...] I can’t believe my little baby is a one year old and is toddling around now. We had a great time on her birthday. Kris took the day off and we planned to go to Salt Spring Island. Meredith and I slept in until 10 (and we’d wanted to catch the 11 ferry), so [...] First off, I’ve decided to drop the anonymity. I’ve spoken to my husband about it and he agrees there’s probably not much point. You still won’t find me publishing my address or phone number here, but I’d like to occasionally share pictures or video too. So, hi! It’s gotten to the point that when Bebe is tired at night she will point to the mei tei and gets really excited as I put it on. It’s nicer on the coast than on the prairies, where the grass is still brown and there are no flowers or buds yet.
