 I didn’t post much about my garden this year, mostly because I wasn’t blogging much during the period when I was gardening a lot and getting lots of stuff out of it. I wanted to post about the progress this year though and some thoughts for myself to think about for next year. The back part, where the carrots, beets, onion, etc. were, sprouted a lot of sprouts very early, and then they just stopped growing. My very first homegrown food ever! My family had a garden growing up, but this is different. We did all the work ourselves. It’s such a small thing in the scheme of things, but hopefully the start of something much bigger. Meredith and I shared the strawberry, and it was delicious. I ended up transplanting our hydrangea where it used to be as I’ve read hydrangeas don’t like full sun anyway and it gives me more room for veggies.
