 We spent this past weekend in Tofino with Kris’ dad and little brother. Overall, the trip was a lot of fun. I think Meredith had a blast playing on the beach and climbing on rocks. I get motion sick, though since I’ve become an adult it hasn’t been bad at all. But last time [...]  I am going through another one of those periods of time where I have so much I want to write about, but not enough time. So I end up writing nothing instead and getting even more behind! So I’m going to try and write a short recap, and come back later and write more [...] My sister-in-law pointed me to a great blog post today that was written by a kid who was unschooled his whole life, and then decided to try going to school. I really love reading experiences from unschooled kids so I thought I would share it. I found the comments about socialization [...] I’ve been really bad about keeping my blog up to date. Hopefully I still have readers out there! October was really busy for us, though (mostly) a lot of fun too. We spent Thanksgiving with my relatives in Langley. My mom’s brother, sister, and mother all live there. In particular, I’m very close to [...] We have been pretty busy here, with company, weddings, fairs, and more. Plus, Meredith has been wanting to spend all of her awake time at the park here. Since we’re approaching rainy season and I want to spend less time on the computer anyway (especially now that she’s older), we tend to go there [...] I have so much I could write about that I keep putting off writing anything. I could write about the barbecue we had on Saturday for Meredith’s birthday. It was a lot of fun, some of my favorite family from Vancouver showed up as well as some friends and one of Kris’ coworkers. Meredith [...] Meredith fell asleep nursing in my arms today. We (Meredith and I, Kris stayed here) have been away for the last ten days visiting my family and just got home last night.
